[ale] splitmail and rejoining messages

All,

As part of my effort to take all my CDs home from work, but
still have music, I've been mailing MP3 to my work email.
I ran into a problem with some of them being too big to pass
the office mail system. I found splitmail as a tool, but
was unable to find anything that would explain how to rejoin
such a split file correctly. Anyone have any pointers on
splitmail use and/or another method?

Thanks,
