[ale] Xwindows on Slackware 8.1

Arial'>I decided to install Slackware on my system as I just downloaded
it.  It is installed ok but is
there anything other than xfree86 to set up xwindows.<span style="mso-spacerun:
yes">Â  This thing is driving me nuts getting it correct.<span
style="mso-spacerun: yes">Â  So far the closest I can come to a good
working xserver is most of the screen being ok but it extends too far to the
bottem and to the right of the screen. 
I have KDS 17” monitor and Geforce 3 Nvidia 64MB video card.<span
style="mso-spacerun: yes">Â  HELP!!! I am pulling out what is left
of my hair.
