It still doesn't work.  Suntrust's site is a good example of bad
design.  It only works with IE5 or later and NN 4.77 or earlier,
requires JavaScript, requires cookies, and if any of these conditions
are not met, it delivers you to the same error page that simply says
your browser is not compatible.  The reason given for only supporting
old versions of Navigator is that "Netscape has chosen to alter their
communication standards."

By contrast, Navy FCU's site never refused to serve any browser on any
OS.  If you were missing cookies or 128-bit security, it told you so. 
Too bad their nearest branch is in Athens.

So maybe it wasn't the usual reason for choosing a bank, but I ended up
with SouthTrust.  At least their site works.
