The easiest way to retain existing format in html is to wrap the code 
with <pre></pre>

So write the <pre> then your data as you expect it to be presented then 
follow with the </pre>

Since you're reading everything, including newlines, this should give 
you what you're looking for.

I'm too lazy to research to see if this has been deprecated in anyway, 
so that's left to you. :)

Why on earth refreshing the data provides the formatting you're looking 
for is beyond me....
