[ale] Curl Linux Technology Preview

It is somewhat amazing looking at how the web progresses. I look at early
web browers without Java Script and Hava as 3270 terminals running CICS.
A form is supmitted to the terminal allowing the host to service other
users. The person on the 3270 could fill out the form, hit send and get a
response.
Just like a web broswer.

Second, We look at Java and Java Script to allow the client to do some
work. This will alow scripting to take place before the request gets
submitted to
the web server.

Finally, We implement full blown software so that the web browser can
interact in pseudo real-time with the host system.

Hm - I've seen more than one "Web content and delivery platform" curl up
and die; I am interested (enough to avoid downloading the preview so
someone with more time than I can mess with it) but I observe and regard
with a jaundiced eye...

Wonder if these guys will avoid the temptation to charge
$40,000-$50,000/instance like one flop of my acquaintance.
