[ale] VMWare + Win2k

I am trying to install Win2k on my Linux/VMWare machine. The Win2k
install gets through the first part of loading the various drivers that
I don't need, and as it flashes the Starting Windows 2000 message across
the bottom of install screen, I get the BOD. Has anyone had any simialar
experience with this? Know of any way to get around it?


Host Machine:
Redhat 	7.1 
Kernel 	2.4.2
VMWare	2.0.4 build 1142
