[ale] Email client?

I think that is more of a server option than a client option. As the
headers are part of the mail message, it requires the server to split
off the headers, allow the download, and still keep intact email for
further download.

Unless the mail can be handled like newsgroup posting. There, you can
get the headers and the bodies separate. 

Now I'm not sure.
