Stephen,
Jim's right.  Also, most businesses are pushed to the edge, in the mind
of the managers, trying to survive.  You'll find most of the time you
will need to put together the solution yourself on your own time.  Then,
when it is working, show it to your decision maker buddy.  Only then!
