[ale] Changing DM in Redhat 7.2 - aaargh!!

Charles,

Are you sure you have kdm installed?  If so, what's
the path?

Open /etc/X11/prefdm and insert the line "set -x" at
the top.  Then run the file and send the output to the
list.  It might be a bit more indicative of what's
going on...
