Hello, all, and Merry Christmas!

A few days ago I got a Vivitar 3555T USB digital still camera as a
gift. For jollies, when I got it home, I hooked it up to my Mandrake
9,0 box to see what it would do.

Here's dmesg from the encounter, during which I tried to mount the
device using several -t options:

hub.c: USB new device connect on bus2/1, assigned device number 2
usb.c: USB device 2 (vend/prod 0x461/0x822) is not claimed by any active
driver.

Here is the output of cat /proc/filesystems:

nodev rootfs

The cam can be "browsed" from WinME once the accompanying CD's drivers
and software are installed.

Is this failing because it's got some weird filesystem inside it? Would
using a SmartCard reader get me around this problem or is this pretty
much a "Wincamera?" Google helped me not.
