All,

I'm looking for a CAD program that will do simple drawings and don't
really want to spend much more than $40 or $50, if that. AutoCad
would be perfect if it weren't for it's $750 price tag.

The target application is an instrument panel layout for an aircraft
I'm building. I'd need it to handle multiple layers, work in MKS units
as well as imperial, and be able to produce DWG files to be sent to
a printer or cad shop as camera-ready art.

I look to the members of this list first since words of experience
are far more reliable than anything I could find through google.

TIA.
