This is what I hate most about rpm:

[cfowler at cfowler KDE]$ sudo rpm -U -v kdebase-3.0.2-2.i586.rpm
error: failed dependencies:
        libfontconfig.so.1   is needed by kdebase-3.0.2-2
        kdebase = 3.0.0-12 is needed by kdebase-devel-3.0.0-12
        kwin-gcc2.96.so   is needed by kdeartwork-3.0.0-4
        libkateinterfaces-gcc2.96.so   is needed by
        kdeaddons-kate-3.0.0-4
        libkonq-gcc2.96.so.4   is needed by kdeaddons-konqueror-3.0.0-4
        libkonqsidebarplugin-gcc2.96.so   is needed by
kdeaddons-konqueror-3.0.0-4
[cfowler at cfowler KDE]$

What is the secret to getting this installed?

Thanks,
Chris
