[ale] hard drive integrity

Thanks for the info, I'll check it out.  Next, I thought there was a way 
to mark sections of a disk bad in order to use the 'good' portion of the 
disk.  Anyone know about this possibility?

I didn't have to buy my radio from a specific company to listen
to FM, why doesn't that apply to the Internet (anymore...)?
