[ale] indent for C++ and coding style checker programs

Hello all,

ANybody know of a version of indent that really understand C++?  I've
donwloaded the latest (I think) from the web, and it has a few oddities
in handling C++ that make it undesireable (like, it waffles on a variable
declaration - pass 1 splits it into 2 lines, Pass 2 joins those lines, Pass
3 splits them....)

Also, what about a tool for checking coding style?  Naming conventions, 
order of public:/protected:/provate:, etc?
