[ale] RPMS

Unfortunately, SuSE is kind of the exception to the rule. They name
their packages differently, and the often install them in different
places. I ran into this problem a while back when I was giving SuSE a
spin. I often like to install bleeding edge stuff, but I always had
problems installing non-SuSE rpms on my SuSE dist. I then made the
mistake of telling it to not worry about dependencies.

Often times, the non-SuSE package will expect another package that it
won't see, because the rpm package it's looking for has a different name.

My experiences.

I didn't have to buy my radio from a specific company to listen
to FM, why doesn't that apply to the Internet (anymore...)?
