[ale] New DSL throughput questions

Last night I finally got the hardware from directvdsl (about an 8 week wait),
installation went smooth. I was up an running in about 30 minutes. But just
for grins I went to DSLReports and did the speed test from my desktop ( Winbox
) thru my firewall and then the same test on the firewall server pc. What
surprised me was the throughput from the desktop vs the firewall server (
ipchains) was about half. Both nics are the same - Linksys 10/100

          Download Upload
Desktop 529kbps 130kbps
Server 1241 kbps 170kbps

I notice that when I pinged the same site from these machines the time in ms is
about the same 99 - 102 ms. I thought I had sniped out the info stating the
eth1 was running halfplex, but I don't see that in the info below (late night
trouble shooting - brain dead).

So basic questions - If halfplex is the issue, where can I find info on
resetting the nic? I'm just not sure what do next? Sorry for the long post...

Thanks

Eric
