i was planning to install a debian from scratch, like
the linuxfromscratch.org site talks. only i noticed
they are using thier own linux version, they have
patches and things and also say that this is the bare
minimum to get a linux system going, i have seen linux
systems on a floppy! i know this 75 meg version isnt
bare bones is it? anyways my main question is what are
the needed packages er things to get a plain linux
system going? i know i need utilities to install
unpack and compile sorc ect, anyone got a good site on this?
