[ale] Which kernel first enabled FIREWIRE capability ?

The SB Life ! works very well on most kernels distributed these days. It
uses the chipset/module emu10k1.o, so a modprobe emu10k1 would do the trick.
If you dont have it already you can download it from freshmeat.net and
compile it.
