[ale] Strange behavior from CD writer

The current cdrecord, 1.10, seems to have problems with 
certain CDRWs.  The new one, 1.11, is in beta and
supposed to fix some of the problems.  Many of those
are relating to OPC, which optimizes the laser output.

I have a Ricoh 7060S which worked great 4 months ago,
but not anymore.  The old Sony CDR920S is slow but keeps
working fine. :-(
