[ale] StarOffice5.2

I'm trying to install StarOffice 5.2. I remember originally I installed
it as root, put it in /usr/local/StarOffice/office50, then as myself
re-ran soffice so it created my "local user version" or something close.

Is there a similar process for 5.2? I'm running it as myself and it is
trying to write files it doesn't have permission to (I'm thinking KDE
base files). If I install it as root, I can't execute it myself.
