[ale] Best source for CDR blanks

Hi,
What's the best place around town for getting CDR blanks?  I'm
looking for 16X speed.  

What exactly is the difference in the physical medium (cdr disk)
between 1x and 16x (or whatever speed) disks?  Is 16X-rated CDR
disk somehow cleaner or able to spin faster or what?
