[ale] mouse problems solved

I changed my mouse protocol to ImPS/2 and my mouse now works fine.  I'm
a bit confused, since PS/2 worked in 3.3.* and I thought ImPS/2 was for
Microsoft scroll mice.  Whatever, it's working now.
