[ale] SSH+multiple ports?

I have mine listening on a different port, due to our firewall
at work.  I basically just bagged the port 22- you probably
don't really need it on two.

I would like to know of a way to prevent time outs.  I connect
with Tera Term from at work, and, occasionally, I time out as well.
