[ale] Routing

I am not sure I know what you mean? routing is buily into the kernel is
you have networking. Can you explain what you want to do? There is no
command turn it off. If you are talking about ip forwarding the command
would be this... 
echo 0 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward

ip forwarding lets a packet pass throught your linux box if it is properly
routed through it and the Linux has a route for it in the route table.
