[ale] Ramdisk Error on RH 7.1 Install

While doing an FTP install of RH 7.1, at the point where the install says
"Loading /mnt/runtime/ramdisk..." I get "Error loading ramdisk." FWIW, this
is a Micron P/90 with 72MB RAM, an Initio-based narrow SCSI PCI card, an ATI
Mach64 PCI SVGA card, and a Netgear fa311 Ethernet card (I also tried it
with an RTL8139 card and I get the same thing). RH's site yielded nothing.

I am using the floppies made from the bootnet.img and drivers.img image
files.

What's broken?

Also, does RH 7.1 have an "issue" with a gcc that won't compile its own
kernel? I am going to have to do kernel patches and recompliles, so it's
kind of critical.
