[ale] mediaOne modem

M1 requires that you call every day there is an outage to get credit
for that day.   The way I figure it, they would owe me money by now,
but reality tells me to not push that envelope.  I just want it to
work.  The loss of my $40 isn't going to cause them to loose sleep.
