[ale] Radeon VE and XFree86 4.0.2

I just bought one of the new ATI Radeon VE cards that allow Multiple
monitors.  Since it's so new I doubted that there were any drivers or
support for it but it looked like XFree86 4.0.2 supported it but I can't get
it too work.  Anybody been able to get X working with this card?
