I'm not sure if that is possible.

Hello, I got online this morning to ask this specific question, and lo and
behold, the thread is already started. I have started back to school, and
am learning writing C++, so my teacher used Visual C++ but told us to use
what we are comfortable with.  So here is my question, I downloaded
cygwin, and so far so good. But I need to give her an executable,

if I compile my (very simple) code under the cygwin shell, all is good,
if I try and run it from the DOS command line then i get the error "A
required .DLL file, CYGWIN1.DLL, was not found.  So I copied the exe file
to my bin dir and then it runs fine under because it is in the same dir as
the dll.  So here is my question,

How do I compile this file, so that my prof can run it on her computer
that does not have the cywin dll?
