[ale] ATT Broadband and DHCP Help Requested

Mindspring/Earthlink gives you 20 hrs per month free dialup time in
addition to the ADSL connection.  Excellent uptime.  Tolerance of Linux
as long as you let them trouble shoot without the Linux being involved. 
The tech just used the modem itself to do the trouble shooting for the
ATM side.  I just hooked up a LinkSys router with PPPOE enabled,
configured the Unix machines to that gateway and bam! on the Net.  No
downtime in the last 6 months.
