Yes, a 386-16Mhz with 8MB ram did nicely for a 128K ISDN connection for about 6
months :-) I have discovered that 100Mhz and 120Mhz 486s make great little
computers to put dedicated services on that aren't cpu or bandwidth intensive.
You can get them nearly free these days. i'll probabl be getting rid of a few
of them myself soon due to space reasons.
