I've just installed a hauppauge wintv GO card. It'll work under the
redmond OS, but I'm having trouble with v4l-conf. Here's some output:
visual: id=0x3f class=5 (DirectColor), depth=16
visual: id=0x40 class=5 (DirectColor), depth=16
visual: id=0x41 class=5 (DirectColor), depth=16
visual: id=0x42 class=5 (DirectColor), depth=16
image format list for port 74

    0x30323449 (I420) planar
Xv: no usable image format found (port 74)
x11: 1280x1024, 16 bit/pixel, 2560 byte/scanline, DGA
can't open /dev/video: No such device
v4l-conf had some trouble, trying to continue anyway
open /dev/video: No such device
v4l: open /dev/video: No such device
no video grabber device available

However:
 ls -la /dev/video
lrwxrwxrwx    1 root     root            6 May  3  2000 /dev/video ->
video0

So /dev/video exists, but why the trouble above.

I'm running XF86-4.0.2 on a 2.4.1 kernel. Can anyone offer assistance?

Thanks,
Scott
