[ale] H1-B serfs (was: What do you guys think about this?)

Yeah, I remember my first contract here in Atlanta. My boss was kind enough
to reveal what my agency was billing me out for. Turns out there was a 30%
markup between what I saw and what my client paid for (which was pretty
typical in those days). We also had an H1-B guy from Spain who was being
billed out with a *50%* markup. He was also applying for citizenship, which
was taking forever for him, so he was essentially stuck until he could be
naturalised. We were all waiting for the day when that would happen so we
could watch him tell his agency to shove off. Unfortunately, everyone except
for that guy wound up getting laid off.

I guess I didn't really state an opinion here, did I?
