[ale] Win2K + Linux

I have Win2K and RH 7.0 on my workstation and all is fine.  Install
Win2K first and then Linux with lilo.  The nice thing about Win2K is
that it will not overwrite the mbr if you have to reinstall with an
existing linux installation.  I wonder why Microsoft changed that
behavior?  Overall there should be no problems with having linux and
Win2K living together.
