[ale] OT: DSL with Telocity

Just thought I would update everyone on my case. Again, I would point out
that my only fault with Telocity is that they dropped the ball for a
couple of weeks. Otherwise, this has been mostly Verizon at work here....

OTOH, I got hooked up with some Verizon Technicians who, as everybody who
has worked with telcos knows, are the only ones who really know what's
going on. They poked around and found that I didn't get put into about
half of the systems I was supposed to be in, and that according to the
computer, I'm not even wired for DSL (I'm synced to something, but the
computer doesn't show it). They are ordering a cancellation and
reinstallation, and estimating 11 days to completion.

124 days is too long to wait for Telocity and Verizon to hook up my DSL.
