[ale] html - frames and target= question

I realize I probably shouldn't be using frames, but before I redo this page, I
must know the answer just for my own sanity. I have a page with three frames,
title on top, left side navigation, and rest of screen is content. I have some
nav links on the left that will put whatever I want in the main area of the
screen using the "target=main" syntax. Works fine. Now, what is the syntax to
make the whole screen go to the link? I don't want the page to appear in a
frame, I want it to be the whole page as if I had typed it at the "url" prompt
of the browser.
