[ale] pppd problem

I get that on my slackware box from time to time. THe only way I have
found to fix it is to reboot. I know that sounds like a stupid windows
solution but it rarely happens so I have never dug any further into it.

Is this somethign that happens all the time? What kind of ppp scrits are
you using? how did you generate them?
