	        	    THIS MONTH:

	   Topic: An Infrastructure for Colocation
Speaker: Paul Painter, Systems Engineer Inflow, Inc.
	 	  http://www.inflow.com/

Paul will give a technical presentation regarding the infrastructure
of a colocation services provider. He will discuss electric power,
routing, operational elements (ie: security, record keeping &
training), and routing/switching infrastructure and some basic
elements one should look for in a colo facility.

Inflow uses Linux boxes mainly as test sets. Some customer cabinets
include them as part of certain product/service offerings as a means
to test and prove that our product is functioning properly. Every
facility has a linux-based DNS server which has a backup DNS server at
    Inflow's corporate headquarters in Denver.

Paul Painter is a Systems Engineer at Inflow and has been involved
with PC Networking since 1985. He has professional certifications from
Novell, HP and has completed training from Red Hat.
