[ale] CRC errors, How can I go about solving this one ?

I have a brand new system, Dual 500Mhz, 512MB, Adaptec 29160, 3COM 905C.

When installing Linux I get a CRC error on the SCSI and a CRC error on
the network card. What is the problem ? Could it be that both the
Netcard and SCSI controller are faulty or just the motherboard ?
