recently from a server that was taken off line).  The customer cannot ftp
from their site, or from a machine in my office.

What OS are the servers running?  SUsE 6.3

May be related... if you go to a browser and type in hardyrealty.com (the
site in question) and hit enter, the name is replaced by the IP address.
This is the only site that does this.

I've tried to ftp in from both inside and outside the firewall - no
difference.
