[ale] Lilo message

File message just reports that it is just data.  I'll need to know what type in order to load it.

Ahhh, yes. I've been rolling my own lately, so I was unaware. Whatever the
format is, Microsoft Photo Editor (I don't have access to Linux at work)
recognises it, but MSIE 5.5 doesn't seem to like it, whether I put a .png,
.gif or .jpg extension on it. Have you tried loading it into the GIMP to
see what it thinks it is?
