Ok,
I have lprng working happily on my print server for that machine only.
I'm trying to print from a remote host though, but when I do an "lpq"
from that machine, I get:

{0}:bob:/home/nomad>lpq
Printer: lp at bob (dest lp at lh.rnd-consulting.com%9100) 'rnd deskjet'
Queue: no printable jobs in queue
Status: subserver pid 28340 exit status 'JABORT' at 21:14:17.075
Printer 'lp at lh.rnd-consulting.com%9100' - cannot open connection - No such file or directory
{0}:bob:/home/nomad>telnet lh 9100
Trying 208.37.210.163...
telnet: Unable to connect to remote host: Connection refused

printcap on the server (lh):
lp|treekiller|hp882c|HP 882C:\
        :lp=/dev/usb/usblp0:sd=/var/spool/lpd/hp882c:\
        :sh:pw#80:pl#66:px#1440:mx#0:\
        :if=/etc/magicfilter/dj550c-filter:\
        :af=/var/log/lp-acct:lf=/var/log/lp-errs:

printcap on remote machine (bob):
lp|treekiller|rnd deskjet:\
        :rw:ff_separator:sh:rm=lh.rnd-consulting.com%9100:sd=/var/spool/lpd/hp882c:\
        :lf=log:\
        :ps=status:\
        :if=/usr/lib/lprng/filters/lpf -Zsimplex:\
        :of=/usr/lib/lprng/filters/lpf:\
        :vf=/usr/lib/lprng/filters/lpf -c:

Thoughts?
