You are wrong.  The only way Microsoft can be replaced on the desktop is
by making Linux easier and useful for the average user.  As a software
developer, I want a better desktop environment then NT or windows 2000. 
I won't get it as long as Microsoft holds the keys to the desktop
kingdom.
