[Nomad the Wanderer]

I jsut got XFree86 to work on my laptop in what looks like a good set of
modes according to the checkered background.  The problem is I never
get anything other than that.

I get this on console:

(I tried it without the & and get the same effect).

This did work with the 10minute demo of AccelX just fine.
