	I've had the power go out on my servers before... have you ran
fsck against the partition with the boot sector on it? If you can boot the
system off a floppy I would say it's not a faulty harddrive but maybe that
the filesystem itself is corrupted... doesn't sound like my last outage
where it totally hosed the super blocks on the root partition in which
booting from a floppy was useless and required a re-format of the drive...
