[ale] Boot from /dev/hdb

Somewhere (www.tomshardware.com, perhaps?) I read that if you care anything
about speed under IDE, don't use a master/slave (apologies to Hazel
O'Leary...NAAH, on second thought, no apologies!) arrangement on a single
controller.  Is that how you have them hooked up?
