[ale] database engine integration with MS products

Actually, the ODBC drivers work great for postgresql, but there is something
going on in InterDev that postgresql is not supporting.  I was hoping
someone had specific experience with something that does work with InterDev
or Access2000 or something Microsoft so I can seel a client on this.

According to the Postgressql FAQ on their site, there are ODBC drivers out
there.  Pretty much most products I've seen that hit databases from
Windows use ODBC for the connectivity method, unless it is written to
specifically go via a specific api (like Oracle SQL*Net or OCI)
