[ale] Linux and two ethernet cards

add

  append = "ether=12,0x300,eth0 ether=15,0x340,eth1"

or something similar to /etc/lilo.conf before any image entries, and run lilo.
reboot, and all should theoretically be recognized properly.

the order's like this:
ether=<irq>,<base address>,<device>

you can add more to the setup, but that seems to usually be enough.
