[ale] netstat -a doesn't give the PID's too?

Hi,

What a pain, that linux's netstat doesn't give the PIDs/procnames of the
clients/daemons that 
have socket XYZ open??

Unless lsof |grep <port number> finds the client or daemon in question,
how else
might I find the pid of these tasks?
