Ok,
  Got a good one for someone with some time.  I recently re-installed 95.
(I use it for games, that's all, I SWEAR)...  Anyway, my floppy was messed
up.  I made my own copy of RedHat-4.2 for emergencie purposes on CD.  I
could read my boot/supp images to redo lilo, but had no floppy to write
them to.  Anyway, how about someone make a dos-based utility that'll 
re-write the mbr after a 95 install.  This would be good for most of
us as 98 Might make it out at year end or so.  Maybe you run a lilo-prime
that writes the critical info to a directory in a dos-partition.  After
that's created, you can run re-lilo.exe that would read that file or
such and re-build the bootmanager...
