In that case, I'd recommend going with RedHat.  Glibc will be the
standard, so you might as well adopt it if you're bothering to upgrade.

Beware, of course, that glibc is not nearly as debugged as libc5 (I
haven't seen anything major, but caveat emptor) when you make your
decision.
